IET College of Pharmacy is inviting applications from qualified and passionate candidates for the position of Associate Professor / Assistant Professor – Pharmacognosy. We are looking for dedicated educators who are committed to academic excellence, research, and mentoring pharmacy students.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Pharmacognosy.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, and practical demonstrations.
- Conduct laboratory sessions and supervise student practical work.
- Guide students in research projects, seminars, and dissertations.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
- Publish research papers and contribute to funded research projects.
- Maintain departmental records and ensure compliance with PCI, AICTE, KUHS, and institutional regulations.
- Participate in examinations, evaluations, accreditation activities, and college committees.
- Mentor students and support their academic and professional development.
Eligibility
- Associate Professor:
- Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy or a relevant specialization.
- M.Pharm in Pharmacognosy.
- Experience and research publications as per PCI/AICTE/KUHS norms.
- Assistant Professor:
- M.Pharm in Pharmacognosy from a recognized university.
- Teaching or research experience is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent teaching and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of medicinal plants, phytochemistry, and herbal drug technology.
- Ability to mentor students and work collaboratively in an academic environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications and presentation tools.
