Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer with strong expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and enterprise Salesforce product development. This role requires a hardcore hands-on developer who can independently design, develop, enhance, and support Salesforce products while working closely with Solution Architects and Technical Leads.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Flows, Salesforce APIs, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Second Generation Packaging (2GP). Experience in enterprise product engineering, reusable component development, and production support is essential.
This is a development-focused role requiring strong coding skills, technical design capabilities, and the ability to build scalable Salesforce solutions with minimal guidance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Salesforce Product Development
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Salesforce applications and products.
- Build scalable, reusable, and high-performing solutions using Salesforce best practices.
- Design and develop new product features while enhancing existing platform capabilities.
- Participate throughout the complete software development lifecycle from design to production support.
- Develop reusable frameworks and components for enterprise-scale Salesforce applications.
2. Salesforce Development
Develop robust Salesforce solutions using:
- Apex Classes
- Apex Triggers
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Visualforce Pages
- Lightning Pages
- Lightning Flows
- Asynchronous Apex
- SOQL & SOSL
- Salesforce APIs
Develop secure, maintainable, and performance-optimized code following Salesforce development standards.
3. Technical Solution Design
- Prepare technical solution designs aligned with Salesforce best practices.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Implement enterprise-grade application components with minimal guidance from Architects or Technical Leads.
- Ensure all technical solutions adhere to coding standards, security guidelines, and platform governance.
4. Product Engineering & Support
- Develop and support enterprise Salesforce products.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide long-term solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis and defect resolution.
- Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Participate in production support and ongoing product enhancements.
5. Packaging & Release Management
- Develop and maintain Salesforce Second Generation Packages (2GP).
- Manage package versioning and release lifecycle.
- Support application deployments across multiple environments.
- Maintain package quality, dependencies, and release governance.
6. Integrations & APIs
Design and implement integrations with enterprise applications using:
- REST APIs
- SOAP APIs
- Salesforce APIs
- Web Services
- Middleware platforms (Talend preferred)
- API Management platforms such as Apigee
Develop secure, scalable, and reliable integration solutions supporting enterprise business processes.
7. DevOps & CI/CD
- Work with GitHub for source code management, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and release automation.
- Participate in deployment planning, environment management, and release governance.
- Support continuous integration and continuous delivery best practices.
8. Salesforce Platform Expertise

9. Performance & Security
- Develop high-performance Salesforce applications while adhering to governor limits.
- Implement Salesforce security best practices including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and field-level security.
- Optimize application performance through efficient coding and design.
- Ensure enterprise security compliance and platform stability.
10. Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Technical Leads, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in design discussions and technical reviews.
- Provide accurate effort estimates and technical recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with technical platform owners and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Extensive experience with Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Flows, Visualforce, and asynchronous Apex.
- Mandatory experience with Second Generation Packaging (2GP).
- Strong experience in enterprise Salesforce product development and application engineering.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce DevOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security controls.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Web Services, Talend, Apigee, or similar middleware technologies.
- Experience working closely with Solution Architects while independently delivering technical components.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in product engineering environments.
- Experience building reusable enterprise Salesforce frameworks and components.
- Experience with enterprise integration platforms and API management.
- Exposure to DevSecOps and automated deployment strategies.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, App Builder, or related certifications are preferred.
