Job description:
We are a residential architecture and construction company headquartered in Chennai. The company focuses primarily on turnkey home construction, offering services from architectural design through construction and interior finishing.
Site Engineer (Civil) - Location: Tambaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu / Chromepet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu – 600044
Required Qualifications - Freshers / Experianced
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at project sites.
- Execute work according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, Supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor labour productivity and ensure quality workmanship.
- Prepare and manage material requirements and site inventory.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
- Verify work progress and approve labour measurements and payments.
- Maintain daily progress reports and communicate updates to project coordinators.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards.
- Return unused materials to stores after project completion and submit reconciliation reports.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil preferred).
- Experience ranging from freshers depending on project requirements.
- Knowledge of residential building construction and site execution.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and estimation.
- Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence and willingness to travel between project sites.
- Good communication, leadership, and people management skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
