Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Frontend development, you will:
- Develop and enhance features for our modern, react-based cloud management platform.
- Create reusable front-end components and libraries for future use.
- Actively review designs and wireframes, and propose UX improvements.
- Document design decisions and code changes comprehensively.
- Translate wireframes into high fidelity, responsive user interfaces.
- Write robust unit tests, engage in bug fixing and code reviews.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management and platform development teams.
- Participate in the full application lifecycle from feature ideation and development to testing and deployment.
- Proactively monitor and optimize front-end performance.
Requirements
Required Experience and Skills
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A proven track record in professional software development, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Expertise in developing front-end applications using React (Functional Components, React Hooks, Redux).
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful API integration.
- Familiarity with front-end development tools such as Yarn, Babel, Web-pack, NPM.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and continuous deployment processes.
- Proficiency in using code versioning tools like Git, and project management tools like Jira.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and a commitment to test-driven development.
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing reusable UI components or libraries.
- Familiarity with CSS pre-processors like SASS.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- A keen eye for detail in User Interface design and a passion for crafting visually appealing UIs.
