Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Controls Design Engineer with strong experience in electrical control panel design and industrial automation. The candidate should be proficient in EPLAN and AutoCAD, with hands-on experience in control panel engineering, BOM preparation, and panel testing. The role involves delivering high-quality design outputs within defined project timelines for manufacturing and material handling automation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design control panels using AutoCAD and/or electrical design tools
- Prepare electrical schematics and drawings using EPLAN
- Generate accurate BOM (Bill of Materials) from EPLAN
- Select electrical components such as relays, contactors, MCBs, PLCs, etc.
- Support control panel testing and quality validation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project execution
- Maintain proper design documentation and records
- Ensure timely delivery with high accuracy and quality standards
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in EPLAN (drawing creation & BOM generation)
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical / AutoCAD
- Experience in control panel design and electrical schematics
- Knowledge of electrical components and industrial automation systems
- Hands-on experience in panel testing and validation
- Good understanding of manufacturing and OEM environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Diploma / BE in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in control panel design or electrical engineering
