Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Associate Manager – Accounts (GST) to manage end-to-end GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliations, audits, departmental assessments, inspections, and handling notices. The role requires ensuring statutory compliance, minimizing tax risks, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and government authorities for timely resolution of GST-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, and other applicable returns).
- Ensure timely and accurate GST compliance for multiple business entities.
- Reconcile GST data with books of accounts, e-invoices, e-way bills, and GST portal records.
- Monitor Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility, reconciliations, reversals, and vendor compliance.
- Handle GST assessments, departmental audits, inspections, and investigations.
- Draft and submit replies to GST notices, scrutiny notices, show-cause notices, and departmental queries.
- Liaise with GST authorities, auditors, consultants, and legal teams for compliance and litigation matters.
- Ensure compliance with GST laws, notifications, circulars, and amendments.
- Conduct periodic GST health checks and identify compliance gaps and tax risks.
- Support statutory, internal, and tax audits by providing required data and documentation.
- Review accounting entries from a GST compliance perspective and ensure correct tax treatment.
- Coordinate with business, finance, procurement, sales, and operations teams on GST-related matters.
- Maintain proper documentation, records, reconciliations, and compliance trackers.
- Identify process improvements to strengthen GST compliance and internal controls.
- Prepare MIS reports related to GST compliance, tax liabilities, reconciliations, and outstanding notices.
Candidate Profile
- CA / CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com with relevant GST experience.
- 5–8 years of experience in GST compliance, taxation, and indirect tax management.
- Strong knowledge of GST laws, return filing, assessments, audits, and departmental proceedings.
- Experience in handling GST notices, inspections, and litigation support.
- Good understanding of accounting standards and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
