The Sr. Benefits Administration Specialist will support the scalable, accurate, and employee-centric delivery of benefits for LPL Financial in Hyderabad. As the organization grows, this role will provide disciplined day-to-day administration across benefit programs, enrollments, employee life-cycle changes, vendor coordination, query resolution, controls, reporting, and communications. The role will serve as a key operational link among employees, Total Rewards, People Operations, Payroll, Finance, Procurement, Legal/Compliance, technology teams, and external benefit partners. The individual will combine strong execution, service orientation, data discipline, and risk awareness to deliver a reliable employee experience while protecting data confidentiality and supporting effective governance.
Responsibilities
Benefits Administration & Employee Lifecycle
Support employee benefits administration, including enrollments, claims, renewals, and employee lifecycle updates.
Maintain accurate benefits records, documentation, and data across relevant systems.
Employee Support & Stakeholder Coordination
Provide guidance and support for employee benefits-related queries and requests.
Work collaboratively with vendors, insurers, Payroll, HR, and Total Rewards teams to address employee and operational needs.
Vendor Management & Compliance
Assist in coordinating with benefit providers to support effective service delivery.
Support compliance activities, audits, reconciliations, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Prepare benefits-related reports and help monitor program utilization and service metrics.
Contribute to process enhancements and initiatives that support employee experience and operational efficiency.
Projects & Collaboration
Participate in benefit renewals, annual enrollment activities, system updates, and program implementations.
Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and other teams to support a consistent Total Rewards experience.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
Approximately 3-7 years of progressive experience in benefits administration, Total Rewards operations, HR shared services, HR operations, payroll coordination, or a related area
Familiarity with employee benefits administration, HR operations, payroll processes, vendor coordination, and employee support.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR systems, with the ability to work with data, maintain accuracy, and handle confidential information appropriately.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain benefits processes clearly and effectively.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Exposure to GCC setup and growth environments in India, particularly Hyderabad, would be an advantage.
Preferences:·
Experience supporting health insurance, outpatient or medical reimbursement, life and accident insurance, wellness, retirement, leave-linked benefits, childcare/daycare, or other India employee benefit programs.
Experience working with insurers, brokers, third-party administrators, and benefit technology platforms, including SLA and escalation management.
Experience with benefit renewals, audits, reconciliations, reporting, employee communications, and process improvement.
Exposure to financial services, a GCC, or another high-growth and control-oriented environment is preferred.
