Teach Social Science subjects (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, and Civics) to middle and secondary school students as per the CBSE curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching-learning materials. Create an engaging and interactive classroom environment using modern teaching methodologies. Assess students through class tests, projects, assignments, and examinations. Maintain student attendance, academic records, and progress reports. Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support to students when required. Encourage critical thinking, research skills, and awareness of social and environmental issues. Integrate technology and digital resources into classroom teaching. Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school functions, and academic activities. Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and co-curricular activities. Ensure discipline, safety, and positive behavior among students. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related Social Science subject. B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized institution. CTET/TET qualification preferred. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school (preferred). Skills Required Strong subject knowledge and communication skills. Proficiency in English and classroom management. Ability to use ICT tools and smart classroom technology. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Passion for teaching and student development. Experience Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school preferred.
