Duration: One Year. (extendable based on performance and norms of IUCAA)
Pay/Remuneration: INR 30000 p.m. (Negotiable based on experience)
Age Limit: 40 years
Qualification: Master’s degree from a recognized university in Hindi with English as a
compulsory or elective subject at the degree level, OR Master’s in English with Hindi as a
compulsory or elective subject at the degree level. A diploma in English-Hindi translation
from a recognised university.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in terminology work or translation
between English and Hindi is required. Preference will be given to applicants with prior
experience in working with government institutions.
- Duties & Responsibilities: Translation of, but not limited to, IUCAA office orders, Annual
report, Khagol (quarterly), Vyom (annual) magazines, and press releases. Additional
responsibilities include sending quarterly progress reports to the Department of Official
Language, Ministry of Home Affairs; conducting quarterly Hindi workshops; organizing the
annual Hindi Pakhwada and representing IUCAA in Rajbhasha events organized by the
Government of India.
