Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Four Wheeler Service Technician holding a Certificate – NSQF (Four Wheeler Master Technician, Level 6). The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and workshop practices, along with experience in technical teaching or training.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform inspection, servicing, preventive maintenance, and repair of four-wheelers.
· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and basic electronic faults using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
· Inspect and service engines, transmission systems, brakes, steering, suspension, cooling systems, and other vehicle components.
· Identify vehicle faults and carry out appropriate troubleshooting and corrective repairs.
· Use workshop tools, equipment, service manuals, and diagnostic systems safely and effectively.
· Follow standard operating procedures, workshop safety guidelines, and quality standards.
· Maintain job cards, service records, inspection reports, and other technical documentation.
· Conduct practical demonstrations on four-wheeler servicing, maintenance, repair, and fault diagnosis.
· Train and guide students/trainees in workshop procedures, tools, equipment handling, and vehicle maintenance.
· Prepare and support practical training sessions, demonstrations, and assessments.
· Monitor trainee performance and provide technical guidance and feedback.
· Maintain workshop discipline, safety, cleanliness, and proper utilization of tools and equipment.
Required Skills
· Strong hands-on knowledge of four-wheeler servicing and maintenance.
· Good understanding of automobile mechanical and basic electrical systems.
· Vehicle diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
· Ability to operate workshop and vehicle diagnostic equipment.
· Good communication and practical demonstration skills.
· Ability to teach, train, and guide students or trainees effectively.
· Strong focus on safety, quality, documentation, and workshop discipline.
Experience Requirement
Minimum 4 years of total relevant experience, including at least 3 years of sector-specific experience in four-wheeler automobile servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, along with 1 year of teaching or training experience.
