Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Forklift Mechanic with 1 to 3 years of experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining forklifts. The candidate should know mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel/battery-operated forklift systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of forklifts.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
- Repair engines, brakes, steering, transmission, and lifting systems.
- Service battery-operated and diesel forklifts.
- Inspect forklifts regularly for safety and performance.
- Replace worn-out spare parts and components.
- Maintain service reports and maintenance records.
- Ensure minimum downtime of forklifts.
- Follow safety procedures during repair and maintenance work.
- Coordinate with operators and supervisors for equipment issues.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of forklift repair and maintenance.
- Basic understanding of hydraulics and electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of diesel engines/battery systems.
- Ability to use tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork.
- Safety awareness.
Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Electrical Engineering.
- Forklift maintenance certification preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in Toyota, Godrej, ACE, Voltas, Jungheinrich, or similar forklifts.
- Experience in warehouse/factory / logistics environment
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 86 months
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
