Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Equity Research Consultant based in India to provide independent market research, individual stock analysis, and actionable equity insights.
In this consulting role, you will evaluate equities (Global markets), conduct fundamental and quantitative valuations, and deliver structured recommendations to assist with mid-to-long-term investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Fundamental Stock Analysis: Perform deep-dive research on individual companies, including balance sheet evaluations, cash flow modeling, earnings trends, and valuation metrics (DCF, P/E multiples, etc.).
- Market & Sector Intelligence: Identify high-growth sectors, emerging market trends, and macroeconomic risks.
- Actionable Research Summaries: Deliver clear, data-driven research reports outlining key risk factors, entry/exit levels, and growth potential for specific stocks.
- Portfolio Review: Review existing stock holdings and propose rebalancing or diversification strategies based on market performance.
- Consultation Calls: Conduct periodic check-in meetings via Zoom/Google Meet to discuss stock picks, market conditions, and Q&A.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience working as an Equity Analyst, Research Analyst, or Portfolio Analyst at a broker-dealer, asset management company (AMC), mutual fund, or research firm.
- Regulatory / Certifications:
- SEBI Registered Research Analyst (RA) or NISM Series-XV Certified strongly preferred.
- CFA charterholders (or candidates), CAs, or MBAs in Finance preferred.
- Financial Modeling Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial statement analysis and valuation models.
- Communication: Excellent written and spoken English skills to explain complex financial concepts in plain language.
- Integrity: Strict adherence to conflict-of-interest disclosures and ethical standards.
