Job scope
● After understanding the consumer needs, the captain must suggest products suitable for the family and their home, while communicating the promise and details of the brand eloquently.
● The captain must be aware and well-informed about all the features of products on display and those that can also be sold through the brand catalogue.
● The captain must be able to follow up on inquiries, convert them into active leads and eventually convert it into a sale.
● The captain must ensure that their department is clean and tidy, with items suitably displayed, priced and fully stocked.
● The captain must proactively cross-sell adjacent product categories to maximise sales.
The captain must ensure that the overall sales goals of the business are understood and met
