We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of PlayAir Sports Turf & Cafe. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning of the restaurant, drive sales, deliver exceptional customer experience, and maintain high standards of service and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Revenue Management: Drive sales targets, monitor daily performance, implement promotional strategies, and maximize revenue from dine-in, takeaway, and events.
- Customer Management: Ensure outstanding customer service, handle complaints effectively, and build strong customer relationships to enhance loyalty and repeat business.
- Kitchen & Operations: Oversee kitchen operations, maintain food quality and hygiene standards (FSSAI compliance), and coordinate between kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant staff. Motivate the team to maintain high performance and discipline.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, control wastage, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely procurement of ingredients and supplies.
- Facility & Maintenance: Oversee cleanliness, upkeep of the cafe and turf area, and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Reporting & Administration: Maintain daily/weekly reports on sales, expenses, and operations. Manage budgets and control costs effectively.
- Other Tasks: Support events, coordinate with the sports turf team when required, and handle any additional responsibilities assigned by the Director.
Requirements
- 3 – 5+ years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a cafe/restaurant environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Hands-on experience in sales, inventory, and cost control.
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic accounting.
- Willingness to work on weekends and in rotating shifts (Shift timing: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Local candidates from Guwahati preferred.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
