As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager who can bring strong commercial and procurement expertise while also building meaningful relationships, supporting people and creating a positive working environment.
This is a role for someone who understands that great procurement is not only about getting the best price. It is also about building trust, listening to people, solving problems together and creating partnerships where everyone can grow.
Role Summary
The Procurement Manager will lead the overall procurement and commercial function at MrMed, covering strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, commercial negotiations, inventory planning, product sourcing, supply continuity and process improvement.
The role will work closely with Finance, Marketing, Sales, Warehouse, Operations, Technology and Business teams.
The ideal person will bring a balanced approach:
- Strong on business.
- Fair with vendors.
- Supportive with people.
- Curious about problems.
- Calm under pressure.
- Empathetic in conversations.
The role requires someone who can make commercially sound decisions while understanding the people and circumstances behind those decisions.
What This Role Means at MrMed
Procurement has a direct impact on our customers. When we source the right products, maintain healthy vendor relationships and plan inventory thoughtfully, we help ensure that patients receive their medicines when they need them.
At the same time, our internal teams and vendor partners are people too. The way we communicate, collaborate and solve challenges matters.
We therefore expect our Procurement Manager to build a function that is:
Commercially responsible + Operationally strong + People-friendly + Relationship-driven

- Work closely with Finance and Business teams to support sustainable business growth.
Vendor Relationship Management
- Build respectful, transparent and long-term relationships with suppliers and business partners.

- Work closely with suppliers and warehouse teams to manage deliveries.
- Proactively identify delayed or ageing orders.
- Support smooth warehouse operations and customer fulfilment.
- Develop alternate sourcing options for critical products where required.

People Leadership & Team Happiness
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for creating a team environment where people feel respected, heard and supported.
The person should:
- Build trust within the team through open and honest conversations.
- Understand individual strengths, aspirations and areas where team members need support.
