Bakery Production Supervisor
Experience
3–10 years
Experience in commercial bakery, biscuit, cookie or rusk manufacturing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and supervise production of rusks, cookies, biscuits and bakery products.
- Ensure consistent product quality and taste.
- Monitor baking process and solve production-related issues.
- Reduce wastage and improve production efficiency.
Product Development
- Develop new bakery products and improve existing products.
- Work on healthier formulations using whole grains, millets and natural ingredients.
- Improve taste, texture and shelf life.
- Conduct production trials for new products.
Process Improvement
- Standardize recipes.
- Prepare production SOPs.
- Train operators on correct production methods.
- Ensure consistency between batches.
Quality
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards.
- Work with QC team during product development.
- Identify and solve quality issues.
Desired Skills
- Hands-on experience in bakery production.
- Knowledge of cookies, biscuits and rusks.
- Practical understanding of baking process.
- Able to conduct production trials independently.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Experience training production staff preferred.
