Job Summary
Himalaya Refrigeration Company is looking for a skilled Refrigeration Technician to support installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial refrigeration systems. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in handling cooling systems and ensuring efficient and reliable operation at both workshop and site levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installation and commissioning of refrigeration systems and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and refrigeration-related faults
- Handle gas charging, vacuuming, and leak detection
- Work on components like compressors, condensers, evaporators, and piping systems
- Support fabrication and assembly of refrigeration units when required
- Ensure proper system performance and efficiency
- Maintain service records, reports, and job documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and standard practices
Required Qualifications
- ITI Electrical, Mechanical or wiremen / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning related field
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in refrigeration or HVAC field
- Experience in industrial refrigeration systems preferred
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Good understanding of refrigeration cycle and system operation
- Hands-on experience in installation, servicing, and repair work
- Knowledge of refrigerant handling and system components
- Basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Ability to use tools, gauges, and testing instruments
- Practical problem-solving skills
- Hardworking and responsible approach
