We are looking for a driven and people-first Assistant Manager – HR to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our day-to-day HR operations — from talent acquisition and onboarding to employee engagement and compliance. You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and have a demonstrated track record of scaling HR processes in a startup or product-led organisation.
Key responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for mid to senior-level roles across tech, product, and business functions.
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and ensure a smooth, structured interview process.
- Own the onboarding experience, ensuring new hires integrate effectively into the culture and workflow.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through sourcing strategies, employee referrals, and campus initiatives.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Design and execute engagement programs, surveys, and pulse checks to measure and improve employee experience.
- Act as a trusted advisor and first point of contact for employee grievances, performance concerns, and conflict resolution.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee data and HRIS records; generate HR reports and dashboards for leadership.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Oversee payroll inputs, leave management, and separation formalities in coordination with finance.
- Draft, update, and communicate HR policies, the employee handbook, and SOPs.
Must-haves
- 4–6 years as an HR Generalist in a Startup or product-based company
- Exposure to the full employee life cycle
- MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent
- Comfortable working with AI tools.
