Role Overview
The Social Expert will support CorpSustain Ventures on social, ESG and E&S consulting assignments, including ESIA, ESDD, Land Impact Assessment (LIA), Livelihood Restoration Planning (LRP), Resettlement & Rehabilitation (R&R), stakeholder engagement and related social studies. The role requires strong field-based consultation experience, knowledge of land acquisition and social safeguards, and excellent reporting and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
· Support and conduct the social component of ESIA and ESDD assignments.
· Conduct site visits, stakeholder consultations, community interactions, interviews and field assessments.
· Plan and undertake stakeholder engagement activities required for ESIA and ESDD studies.
· Assess social risks and impacts, including land acquisition, displacement and livelihood impacts.
· Support LIA, LRP and R&R assignments.
· Review applicable Indian regulations relating to land acquisition, resettlement, rehabilitation and social safeguards.
· Assess projects against IFC Performance Standards and relevant international E&S/social safeguard frameworks.
· Conduct socio-economic and stakeholder assessments and analyse field data where required.
· Identify social risks, gaps and areas requiring mitigation or corrective action.
· Support development of mitigation, stakeholder engagement, livelihood restoration and R&R measures.
· Prepare high-quality ESIA, ESDD, LIA, LRP, R&R and other social assessment reports.
· Prepare consultation records, meeting notes, data tables, risk registers and supporting documentation.
· Participate in client meetings, presentations and technical discussions.
· Coordinate with internal teams, clients, government representatives, communities and other stakeholders.
· Manage assigned deliverables independently and meet agreed project timelines.
Required Qualifications & Experience
· 3–6 years of relevant professional experience in social consulting.
· Experience with ERM, AECOM, Deloitte, PwC or another relevant ESG/E&S consulting organisation is preferred.
· Hands-on experience conducting ESIA/ESDD site visits, stakeholder consultations and technical report writing.
· Strong understanding of land acquisition, social safeguards, livelihood impacts, LIA, LRP and R&R.
· Working knowledge of IFC Performance Standards and relevant international E&S/social safeguard frameworks.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
