Patient Care:
- Prepare patients for dialysis treatment (weight, vitals, assessment).
- Assist in initiating and terminating dialysis procedures.
- Monitor patients during dialysis and report any complications.
- Provide basic patient care and emotional support.
Technical Duties:
- Operate and monitor dialysis machines (hemodialysis).
- Prepare dialysate as per prescription.
- Ensure proper functioning of equipment before and after use.
- Maintain records of machine parameters during treatment.
Infection Control:
- Follow strict aseptic techniques.
- Ensure sterilization and disinfection of dialysis machines and equipment.
- Dispose biomedical waste as per hospital policy.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate patient treatment records.
- Record vital signs, fluid removal, and machine readings.
- Report any abnormal findings to the concerned staff.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform routine cleaning and minor troubleshooting of dialysis machines.
- Report technical faults to biomedical team.
- Ensure adequate stock of consumables.
Safety & Compliance:
- Follow hospital policies and safety protocols.
- Adhere to NABH / quality standards.
- Participate in audits and training programs.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. Dialysis Technology (preferred)
Experience:
- 0–2 years (Fresher can apply)
- Experience in dialysis unit preferred
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of dialysis procedures and equipment
- Basic life support (BLS) knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle emergency situations
Working Conditions:
- Rotational shifts (including night duty)
- Exposure to patients with infectious diseases
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
