Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical audits of ongoing and completed construction projects.
- Verify that work execution complies with approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, contracts, and quality standards.
- Inspect construction activities to ensure adherence to company procedures, engineering standards, and statutory regulations.
- Review project documentation, material approvals, test reports, measurement books, and billing records.
- Identify technical deviations, quality issues, material wastage, and non-compliance, and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor project progress and verify the accuracy of work quantities and execution.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, and Contractors during audit inspections.
- Prepare detailed technical audit reports with observations, findings, photographs, and recommendations.
- Conduct follow-up audits to ensure closure of audit observations.
- Support management in improving project quality, cost control, and process compliance.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, quality standards, and engineering practices.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Sound understanding of BOQs, contracts, measurements, and project documentation.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project documentation software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites for inspections and audits.
