You Are:

This is a highly strategic, client-facing leadership role within the Customer Engineering team, responsible for driving presales, solution architecture, and business growth across the Asia-Pacific region.
This individual will be the foremost security solutions authority for the APAC region — partnering directly with Sales, Account Management, and customer CISOs and CIOs to craft compelling, outcome-driven security propositions that win business and expand CyberProof's presence across APAC.
The Opportunity:
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor a regional team of experienced cybersecurity solution professionals across APAC.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation, client success, and continuous growth.
- Set direction, goals, and ways of working for the APAC Customer Engineering function.
Presales & Solution Ownership
- Own the end-to-end presales process — from qualification and discovery through to solution design, proposal, and deal closure.
- Architect tailored, commercially sound cybersecurity solutions addressing complex client environments.
- Lead and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and proof-of-concept engagements for enterprise accounts.
- Deliver compelling, board-level presentations and solution demonstrations to C-suite stakeholders.
Customer Engagement & Revenue Growth
- Work closely with Sales and Account Management teams to identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities.
- Engage with CISOs, CIOs, and senior security leadership at customer organizations to understand their strategic priorities and security challenges.
- Drive account expansion by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base.
- Own and be accountable for a regional sales target delivered through the sales and account team.
OEM & Partner Collaboration
- Cultivate and strengthen strategic relationships with key OEM partners including Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, Google, Splunk, IBM, and others.
- Collaborate with OEM field teams on joint go-to-market initiatives, co-selling, and solution enablement.
What you need:
- 20+ years of proven, hands-on experience in the cybersecurity industry.
- Significant experience in a presales, solution architecture, or customer engineering capacity within a cybersecurity services or product organization.
- Demonstrated track record of engaging with and influencing C-level security and technology executives (CISO, CIO, CTO).
- Prior experience leading or managing a team of security solutions or presales professionals.
- Experience working across the APAC region, with solid understanding of the regional cybersecurity market dynamics.
Technical Domain Knowledge
- Deep expertise in SOC operations, MDR (Managed Detection & Response), and MXDR.
- Strong command of network security, email security, identity and access management (IAM), application security, vulnerability assessment, and data security.
- Proven ability to design and articulate solutions across the full cybersecurity spectrum — from architecture to operations.
- Familiarity with leading security frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001, etc.).
OEM & Technology Proficiency
- Hands-on familiarity and proven track record working with leading OEM platforms and ecosystems:
- Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR suite, and Microsoft Security stack
- Palo Alto Networks (XSIAM, Cortex, Prisma)
- Google Chronicle / Google Cloud Security
- IBM QRadar / Security portfolio
Personal Attributes & Soft Skills
- Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and drive to succeed in a target-driven environment.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills — able to distil complex technical topics for non-technical audiences.
- Natural leadership presence with the ability to inspire and influence both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Collaborative team player who works effectively across functions — sales, delivery, product, and senior leadership.
- Commercially astute, with a clear understanding of deal structuring, pricing, and value-based selling.
- Willing and able to travel extensively across India and the broader APAC region as required.
