Roles & Responsibilities
- Fee Management & Billing: Generate and issue termly or monthly fee invoices to parents, process receipt entries, and manage student security deposits. They are also responsible for answering fee-related queries and maintaining parent communication.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee the processing of school supplier invoices (e.g., textbooks, facility maintenance, catering) and track outstanding dues to ensure steady cash flow.
- Payroll Processing: Administer staff payroll, including calculations for deductions, benefits, and statutory taxes. They also maintain records for school pension and insurance schemes.
- General Bookkeeping: Post all daily financial transactions using school accounting software (such as SAP or Tally), allocate proper account codes, and perform routine bank reconciliations.
- Budget Tracking & Reporting: Assist the Finance Head or Bursar by pulling data for month-end closings, budget preparations, and financial forecasts.
- Audit and Compliance: Organize and compile financial documents (receipts, invoices, statements) to support statutory and internal school audits
