experiences for K–12 students, educators, and institutions.
As part of our learning content initiative, we are developing a visual learning asset library to
support effective lesson delivery across subjects, grade levels, and curriculum frameworks.
Position Overview
We are looking for an Instructional Designer Intern – Visual Learning Content with a strong
interest in K–12 education, curriculum, and visual learning.
The intern will work with curriculum-aligned lessons to identify the visual support required for effective teaching and learning. This includes identifying suitable images, diagrams, illustrations,charts, maps, and other visual resources, sourcing appropriate assets, and using AI-assistedimage generation tools when suitable visuals are not readily available.
This role is ideal for someone who understands that educational visuals are not merely decorative. The right visual should help a learner understand a concept more clearly, accurately and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lesson & Curriculum Review
- Review K–12 lessons and understand the concept, learning objective, and grade-level expectations
- Identify lesson sections where visual support can improve concept understanding
- Recommend appropriate types of visuals based on the instructional requirement
2. Visual Asset Identification & Sourcing
- Identify and source relevant images, diagrams, illustrations, charts, maps, and other learning visuals
- Evaluate available assets for educational relevance, clarity, and age appropriateness
- Ensure selected visuals accurately represent the concept being taught
3. AI-Assisted Visual Creation
- Use AI-assisted image generation tools to create educational visuals when suitable assets are unavailable
- Develop and refine prompts to generate visuals aligned with the lesson requirement
- Review generated visuals for conceptual accuracy, visual clarity, and learner appropriateness
4. Visual Asset Organization
- Organize and maintain visual learning assets according to defined content and repository standards
- Ensure assets are correctly documented and easily discoverable for future lesson use
- Support ongoing maintenance and improvement of the visual learning asset library
5. Quality Review & Collaboration
- Review sourced and generated visuals before they are incorporated into lessons
- Identify inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, or low-quality visual content
- Work with Product, and Content teams to incorporate feedback and improve visual resources
What We Are Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Science, Mathematics, English, Social Sciences, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of K–12 concepts within one or more subject areas
- Interest in instructional design, educational content, and visual learning
- Ability to understand a lesson and determine what visual support would help students learn the concept
- Strong attention to detail and educational accuracy
- Good written communication and documentation skills
- Willingness to learn and work with AI-assisted content creation tools
Preferred
- Subject Matter Expertise in one or more K–12 subject areas
- Familiarity with curriculum frameworks such as Common Core, State Standards, CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE, ACARA, or similar
- Exposure to AI image-generation or creative AI tools
- Experience creating educational content, lesson resources, presentations, diagrams, or visual learning materials
- Familiarity with EdTech products or digital learning environments

Important Note on the Role
This is not a graphic design internship. The primary focus is instructional and curriculum judgment: understanding what students need to see in order to understand a concept effectively, and then identifying, sourcing, or generating the appropriate visual learning asset.
Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹280,000.00 per year
