Job Summary
We are looking for an Assembly Trainee to help with assembling parts and supporting production activities. This is a trainee role suitable for freshers who are willing to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.
Reporting To: Assembly Supervisor / Production Manager
Key Responsibilities: Assembly & Production Work
- Assist in assembling components, sub-assemblies, and final products.
- Fit and secure parts using hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures.
- Follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and SOPs accurately.
- Support in packaging and labeling of assembled items (if required).
Quality & Inspection
- Check parts for correct dimensions, defects, and quality issues.
- Report deviations, damages, or incomplete parts immediately to supervisors.
- Ensure assembly meets the company’s quality standards and specifications.
Machine & Tool Handling
- Learn safe operation of basic machines used in assembly.
- Maintain and handle tools properly to avoid damage.
- Assist in preventive maintenance activities.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain production logs, daily reports, and checklist entries.
- Update supervisors about work progress and issues.
Safety & Workplace Maintenance
- Follow all safety rules, PPE usage, and housekeeping standards.
- Keep the work environment clean, safe, and organized.
Essential Skills
- Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical components.
- Ability to use basic hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, cutters, etc.
- Good observation skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to new tasks.
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- Time management and discipline in completing tasks.
Qualification
- SSLC / HSC / ITI / Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical preferred).
- Freshers can apply.
- Basic knowledge of tools and components.
- Good teamwork, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Salary Range
- ₹10,000–₹15,000 per month (based on company standards and location).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹10,409.74 - ₹17,490.96 per month
