Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NICU Staff Nurse to provide high-quality care to neonates in a critical care setting. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring newborns, assisting in procedures, and ensuring patient safety in the NICU.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns
- Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate patient records
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and feeds as prescribed
- Handle NICU equipment such as ventilators, CPAP, infusion pumps, and incubators
- Assist doctors during neonatal procedures and emergencies
- Maintain infection control and hygiene standards
- Educate and support parents regarding newborn care
- Respond effectively to emergency situations
Qualifications
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM with valid nursing registration
- Certification in NICU / Neonatal care preferred
- BLS / NRP certification is an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of NICU experience
- Strong clinical and observational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Compassionate patient care approach
Salary
- ₹15,000 – ₹40,000 per month (depends on experience & hospital)
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
