We are looking for a skilled and creative Web Designer to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in WordPress web design, a solid understanding of SEO best practices, and the ability to create or optimize high-quality content for websites.
You’ll be responsible for designing visually appealing, user-friendly websites that are optimized for search engines and aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Design, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
- Create responsive, modern, and user-friendly web designs
- Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, headings, page speed, etc.)
- Write, edit, and optimize website content for SEO and readability
- Collaborate with clients or team members to understand project requirements
- Ensure websites are optimized for performance, usability, and mobile devices
- Update existing websites and fix design or content issues as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience in WordPress web design
- Strong knowledge of SEO principles and tools
- Good content writing and editing skills
- Experience with themes, plugins, and page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS (JavaScript is a plus)
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines while working remotely
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, or SEO tools
- Basic graphic design skills (Figma, Canva, Adobe tools, etc.)
- Portfolio or examples of previous work
