About the Role
UrbanRoof Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Structural Repair & Rehabilitation Consultant to provide technical expertise for the assessment, diagnosis, repair, strengthening, and rehabilitation of existing buildings and structures.
The consultant will be responsible for identifying structural defects, recommending appropriate repair methodologies, reviewing technical solutions, and providing guidance to project teams during execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related specialization will be preferred.
- Strong experience in structural assessment, repair, rehabilitation, and strengthening of existing structures.
- Good knowledge of RCC structures, structural behavior, construction materials, and deterioration mechanisms.
- Strong understanding of relevant IS Codes and structural repair practices.
- Ability to interpret structural drawings and technical reports.
- Excellent analytical, inspection, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience with the following will be an advantage:
- Structural audits and condition assessments
- Repair and rehabilitation of residential and commercial buildings
- Structural strengthening and retrofitting
- Concrete deterioration and corrosion assessment
- Seismic rehabilitation/retrofitting
- Structural distress investigation
- NDT and material testing
- Waterproofing and leakage-related structural deterioration
- Preparation of repair specifications and BOQs
- Site supervision and quality control of structural repair works

Engagement
This position may be engaged on a consultancy, project-based, or ad hoc basis, depending on the project requirements.
The role is particularly suitable for experienced Structural Engineers, Structural Consultants, Civil Engineering Consultants, retired/visiting faculty with structural expertise, and practicing professionals with demonstrated experience in structural repair and rehabilitation.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 per month
