Desktop Support Job Description:-
- Provide IT support as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for users through telephone, ticketing system, emails, and instant messaging tools.
- Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and end users to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Provide desk-side support for local users and remote assistance for remote users.
- Monitor, track, and respond to customer satisfaction survey feedback to improve support quality.
- Troubleshoot and support Windows operating systems, Microsoft Outlook, and Office applications.
- Manage and support Active Directory (AD), DNS, and DHCP services.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and support hardware devices including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Perform system assembling, disassembling, hardware upgrades, and replacement activities.
- Handle OS installation, troubleshooting, software installation, patching, and user profile management.
- Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook, email connectivity, mailbox issues, and profile setup.
- Provide support for Microsoft Office 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- Manage Office 365 user accounts, mailbox creation, password reset, and license assignment/removal.
- Configure and troubleshoot Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for secure user access.
- Support Office 365 licensing, subscription management, and user access permissions.
- Assist users with Microsoft Teams, Office activation, and Office 365 application-related issues.
- Maintain documentation of incidents, service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- Ensure adherence to SLA timelines and IT support processes.
- Possess strong communication skills, customer handling abilities, and technical troubleshooting knowledge.
