About the Role
Khanna Paper Mills Ltd. is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the maintenance and reliability of plant machinery and production equipment. The role involves ensuring maximum equipment availability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain rotating equipment including pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, fans, valves, and paper machine components.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend reliability improvements.
- Coordinate maintenance shutdowns and major overhauls.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and equipment history.
- Collaborate with production and utility teams to achieve operational targets.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 6–7 years of experience in a manufacturing or continuous process industry.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment and maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
