Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Field Supervisor to lead and oversee construction projects at our job sites. This pivotal role involves managing daily operations, supervising field personnel, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. The ideal candidate will bring strong construction management skills, extensive site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. As a key leader on-site, you will drive quality, efficiency, and safety to ensure successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within scope
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations
- Monitor project progress using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and ProCore
- Conduct regular site inspections to uphold safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide field teams
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to meet project milestones
- Enforce quality control measures and ensure adherence to contractual specifications and standards
- Utilize tools like Bluebeam and HeavyBid for document management, estimating, and reporting
- Oversee compliance with all safety protocols and conduct safety meetings with team members
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, change orders, and site documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising field teams
- Extensive construction site experience across various projects including pipelines or heavy civil works
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Primavera
- Knowledge of project scheduling techniques and tools to coordinate multiple activities effectively
- Familiarity with contracts administration and construction estimating processes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and regulations for construction sites
- Experience with quality control procedures and use of testing equipment like ohmmeters
- Excellent management skills with the ability to lead teams confidently while fostering collaboration
- Valid certifications in construction safety (OSHA) are highly preferred
