Job Summary
Gurukul International School is seeking a dynamic and approachable Admission Counselor to manage student admissions up to Class V. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding parents through the admission process, promoting the school’s values, and ensuring a smooth and positive enrollment experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all admission inquiries (walk-ins, calls, emails, and online leads) professionally and promptly
- Provide detailed information about the school curriculum, facilities, teaching methodology, and admission procedures
- Counsel parents and guardians to understand their expectations and guide them accordingly
- Maintain and update admission records, lead databases, and follow-up schedules
- Coordinate school visits, campus tours, and interaction sessions with parents and students
- Assist in organizing admission drives, events, and promotional activities
- Work closely with the academic and administrative team for smooth onboarding of new students
- Achieve admission targets set by the management
- Ensure a high level of parent satisfaction and relationship management
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education/Management preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in admissions, counseling, or customer-facing roles (school experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong convincing and negotiation abilities
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools
