Senior Product Manager
Softobiz Technologies · Full-Time · 8–10 Years Experience
At Softobiz, the platform is not just infrastructure. It is the connective tissue of the entire customer experience — from how users first encounter us to how they stay, grow, and trust us over time. Every integration, every workflow, every requirement document shapes whether we ship with confidence or scramble to catch up.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to fully own a significant area of our platform — setting strategy, writing requirements engineering can actually build from, coordinating delivery across cross-functional teams, and managing the complex web of external integrations, third-party APIs, and operational dependencies that make the platform run.
You are a builder who thrives in ambiguity, communicates with clarity, and consistently closes the gap between strategy and shipped product. You do not wait to be told what to build. You figure it out, write it down, and drive it to done.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- End-to-end ownership of a significant product area — from discovery through delivery and iteration
- Product strategy, quarterly OKRs, and phased delivery plans with visibility for leadership
- PRD and spec writing that gives engineering, design, and QA a single source of truth
- Technical integrations with third-party APIs, external vendors, and partner ecosystems
- Cross-functional execution across engineering, design, operations, and go-to-market teams
- Confluence documentation — product decisions, integration specs, process docs, and runbooks
- Analytics, KPI dashboards, and structured A/B experimentation
- Backlog grooming, sprint planning, and blocker removal in partnership with engineering leads
- Stakeholder communication — roadmap trade-offs, delivery risks, and alignment across the business
- Go-to-market readiness check-ins and product launch coordination
WHAT YOU'LL BE THINKING ABOUT DAILY
- Why is this feature not shipped yet, and what is blocking it?
- Is this PRD clear enough for engineering to build without coming back to ask what I meant?
- What does the data say about this product decision?
- Are our integrations scoped correctly and on track?
- Who needs to be aligned, and have I communicated proactively?
- What are the failure modes and edge cases of this feature?
- What does success look like in 90 days, and are we tracking toward it?
- Are we building the right thing, or just building things right?
- How do we move faster without sacrificing quality or operational readiness?
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the product roadmap from discovery and definition through delivery and iteration
- Write thorough PRDs that give engineering, design, and QA a single source of truth — with edge cases, failure modes, and rollout criteria
- Define quarterly OKRs and maintain roadmap visibility for leadership and cross-functional partners
- Manage technical integrations with third-party APIs, external vendors, and multi-sided partner ecosystems
- Partner with engineering leads to groom the backlog, run sprint planning, track velocity, and remove blockers
- Build dashboards and reporting that make feature performance and product KPIs visible to the team and leadership
- Run structured A/B experiments to validate hypotheses and improve conversion, engagement, and retention
- Lead stakeholder communication — surface roadmap trade-offs, delivery risks, and go-to-market readiness proactively
- Maintain structured documentation in Confluence — decisions, integration specs, process docs, and operational runbooks
- Translate complex business and operational requirements into well-scoped Jira epics, stories, and acceptance criteria
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8–10 years of product management experience in a technology company, with demonstrated ownership of large, complex product areas
- Track record of shipping high-quality products end-to-end — from strategy and discovery through launch and iteration
- Strong experience managing technical integrations with third-party APIs, external vendors, or multi-sided partner ecosystems
- Proficiency with Jira for agile delivery management and Confluence (or equivalent) for product documentation
- Excellent PRD and spec writing skills — you produce documents that engineering can build from without ambiguity
- Analytical capability: comfortable defining KPIs, working with data, and using metrics to drive product decisions
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams — especially engineering, design, and operations — without formal authority
- Strong communicator who can distill complexity into clear narratives for executive audiences and technical depth for engineering partners
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment with high ambiguity and changing priorities
BONUS POINTS
- Healthcare industry experience is a strong advantage — familiarity with clinical workflows, care coordination, or health tech platforms will set you apart
- Experience with platforms that integrate compliance, identity verification, or regulatory workflows (HIPAA, healthcare data standards)
- Background in telehealth, digital health, or health benefits product areas — understanding of patient journeys and care delivery models
- Background in subscription, payments, or checkout product flows — including alternative payment methods
- Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or equivalent
- Experience with CRM and lifecycle marketing tools (e.g., Customer.io, Braze, Klaviyo)
- Prior experience as a Product Owner in a structured scrum process
- Experience defining and implementing role-based access control (RBAC) or admin portal functionality
- Comfort reading and discussing technical architecture at a conceptual level — APIs, data models, routing logic
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus, but not required
SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE
- A product roadmap that is clearly defined, consistently tracked, and trusted by leadership and engineering
- PRDs that engineering ships from without needing to come back and ask what you meant
- Integrations delivered on time, scoped correctly, and monitored after launch
- Stakeholders who feel consistently informed and aligned — no surprises
- KPIs that are defined before launch, visible in dashboards, and moving in the right direction
- A cross-functional team that moves faster because you removed the ambiguity
- A platform that is reliable, well-documented, and systematically improving over time
At Softobiz, we believe the platform is one of the most important products we build. The right person for this role understands that great platform work is invisible to the end user — and essential to everyone else. Clear requirements, trusted integrations, and disciplined execution are what let the rest of the company move fast with confidence. If you have seen how healthcare technology can transform lives, you already understand why getting the platform right matters more here than almost anywhere else.
