Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Curriculum Delivery
- Teach Social Science subjects (History/Sociology/Political Science/Economics) to classes XI–XII as per CBSE guidelines.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and instructional strategies to enhance learning.
- Use modern teaching methods, digital tools, and interactive techniques to improve classroom engagement.
2. Assessment & Evaluation
- Conduct formative and summative assessments.
- Prepare question papers, evaluate answer sheets, and maintain student records.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support academic improvement.
3. Classroom Management
- Maintain a disciplined, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Encourage debates, group work, discussions, and project-based learning to build analytical thinking.
4. Student Mentoring
- Guide students in academic and personal development.
- Support students preparing for board examinations and competitive exams.
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial classes when needed.
5. Professional Responsibilities
- Attend staff meetings, subject enrichment programs, workshops, and trainings.
- Participate actively in school events, celebrations, and academic committees.
- Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and stay aligned with CBSE updates.
6. Administrative Duties
- Maintain lesson plan records, mark registers, and academic documentation.
- Coordinate with parents during PTMs regarding student performance and progress.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in History/Sociology/Political Science/Economics (relevant specialization).
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Prior experience teaching senior secondary classes (preferred 3–5 years).
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in ICT-based teaching.
