Job Summary
Kryon Publishing is looking for detail-oriented and quality-focused Quality Control Executive to join our publishing operations team. The role involves performing quality checks across various publishing content formats, including PDF files, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client and publishing standards.
The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, proofreading skills, and the ability to identify content, formatting, and layout-related issues before final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality checks on publishing content, including PDF files and digital documents.
- Review PDFs for layout, formatting, alignment, fonts, images, tables, references, and overall presentation quality.
- Compare source files and final outputs to identify discrepancies.
- Check content accuracy, completeness, consistency, and adherence to publishing guidelines.
- Identify grammatical, formatting, and typesetting errors and coordinate for corrections.
- Ensure final files meet quality standards before client delivery.
- Maintain QC reports and follow defined quality procedures.
- Work closely with production, editing, and publishing teams to resolve quality issues.
- Meet project timelines while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify errors.
- Good proofreading and document review skills.
- Strong understanding of formatting and layout checking.
- Mandatory: Experience/knowledge in reviewing PDF files.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel).
- Good written English communication skills.
- Ability to work with deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
