Job Summary
The HR Manager will oversee end-to-end Human Resources operations for the hotel. Key focus areas include sourcing and hiring the right talent, establishing and maintaining strict hospitality grooming standards, driving workforce training, managing payroll/statutory compliance, and fostering a positive, guest-centric work culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment: Manage full-cycle recruitment pipelines to hire qualified staff across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage Service, and Kitchen/Food Production departments.
- Training & Grooming: Enforce strict hospitality professional grooming codes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and service etiquette protocols across all staff layers.
- Employee Relations: Address and resolve staff grievances promptly; organize structured employee engagement activities and monthly Town Hall meetings to maintain high morale.
- Operations & Compliance: Supervise daily attendance logs, shift rosters, and payroll processing. Ensure 100% adherence to labor laws and statutory compliances including PF, ESIC, and minimum wage norms.
Job Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of core HR experience. Direct background within the Hotel/Hospitality sector is strictly required.
- Education: MBA in Human Resources or Graduate degree (preference will be given to candidates with a Hospitality Management background).
- Core Skills: Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (proficiency in Gujarati is a distinct advantage). Strong conflict resolution, grievance handling abilities, and high proficiency in MS Office and specialized Payroll/HRIS software.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Piplod, Surat, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- HR Manager in Hospitality sector: 5 years (Preferred)
