Key Responsibilities
- Standardization of jewellery manuals across collections
- Create and review detailed design manuals including measurements, metal weight, stone specifications, and finishing details
- Translate complex jewellery designs and craftsmanship techniques into clear, production-ready documentation
- Coordination and provide technical mentorship
- Collaborate closely with merchandising teams
- Ensure manuals meet manufacturing feasibility and quality benchmarks
- Review and approve manual designs before production release
- Drive process improvements in documentation and manual design standards
- Maintain version control and documentation for legacy and new designs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Jewellery Design or related discipline
- Strong hands-on experience with jewellery manufacturing processes (casting, setting, polishing, finishing)
- Excellent understanding of jewellery construction, stone setting techniques, and tolerances
- Proficiency in CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or manual sketching
- Ability to interpret and coordinate with CAD designs (Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD)
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Domestic jewellery quality standards
- Exposure to mass production as well as bespoke jewellery
- Leadership or team-handling experience
