- Inspect incoming and finished fabrics for defects, color variations, stains, weaving/knitting faults, and other quality issues.
- Conduct fabric inspections using the 4-Point System or other applicable quality standards.
- Verify fabric specifications including GSM, width, shade, construction, composition, and finish.
- Identify, classify, and record fabric defects accurately.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
- Approve or reject fabric lots based on inspection results.
- Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, production, and quality teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Ensure fabric handling and inspection procedures comply with company standards.
- Monitor fabric storage conditions to prevent damage or contamination.
- Report recurring quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the inspection area.
- Follow workplace safety and quality management procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 2 -3 years of experience in fabric inspection or textile quality control.
- Bachelors' degree
