- Prepare and modify 2D and 3D mechanical designs for sheet metal and fabrication components.
- Create detailed drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Develop sheet metal parts, assemblies, fabrication drawings, and manufacturing drawings.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and maintain proper drawing documentation.
- Understand sheet metal fabrication processes such as laser cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.
- Coordinate with the Production, PPC, Quality, and Purchase teams for design and manufacturing requirements.
- Review drawings and ensure dimensions, tolerances, materials, and specifications are correct.
- Modify designs based on production requirements and customer feedback.
- Support the development of new products and improve existing designs for manufacturability.
- Ensure drawings are released and maintained as per company procedures.
- Identify and resolve design-related issues during production.
Required Skills-
