VNE, LLC is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared Data Warehousing Specialist, Journeyman level
5+ years of experience creating software for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data
3+ years of experience with Python, SQL, Scala, or Java
3+ years of experience building scalable ETL/ELT workflows for reporting and analytics
Experience creating solutions within a collaborative and cross-functional team environment
Experience using version control tools such as GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket
Ability to develop scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats, and support project team to scale, monitor, and operate data platforms
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
Operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 30 days of start date
TS/SCI level Clearance required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with UNIX or Linux, including basic commands and Shell scripting
Experience with a public cloud, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
Experience with distributed data or computing tools, including Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, Hive, AWS EMR, or Kafka
Experience working on real-time data and streaming applications
Experience with NoSQL implementation, including MongoDB or Cassandra
Experience with Databricks
Experience with data warehousing using AWS Redshift, MySQL, or Snowflake
Experience with Agile engineering practices
Need to be able to work out of McLean and Ft. Belvoir.

This role is more than just coding. As a Data Warehousing Specialist, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help design, develop, and maintain robust processes to efficiently move data from source systems to our robust data lake. You'll also help maintain and update technical documentation for processes and data pipelines
Essential Duties of the Job:
