About BLEP
BLEP is a pet care brand building products pet parents trust and love. We're looking for a social media marketing intern to help grow our presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
What You'll Do
- Plan and execute content calendars for Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Write captions, hooks, and post copy that fit BLEP's brand voice.
- Share relevant content consistently to keep our profiles active and engaging.
- Shoot videos for reels and other content.
- Assist with creating and editing reels, carousels, and static posts.
- Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, and respond in a timely manner.
- Track basic engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments) to see what's working.
- Stay updated on trends and relevant conversations in the pet care niche to spot content opportunities.
- Coordinate with the team on content ideas, timing, and approvals.
- Support influencer and community engagement (UGC sourcing, comment engagement).
- Coordinate with design to brief and review visual assets.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, mass communication, or a related field.
- Strong writing skills and a good eye for what makes content work on social.
- Genuine interest in pets/pet care is a plus.
- Familiarity with Instagram/LinkedIn best practices, Reels, and basic analytics.
- Comfortable with tools like Canva or similar
- Self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Experience running a personal or brand social account.
- Basic knowledge of paid social ads.
- Photography/videography skills.
