The Quality Controller in the garment industry is responsible for ensuring that all garments meet the required quality standards before reaching customers. This role involves inspecting fabrics, monitoring production processes, and conducting final quality checks to identify defects and deviations from specifications. The Quality Controller works closely with production, merchandising, and quality assurance teams to maintain product excellence and minimize defects.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in the garment industry or Fresher.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, stitching, and finishing techniques.
- Understanding of quality control methods such as AQL (Acceptable Quality Level).
- Proficiency in using measuring tools and inspection techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and quality guidelines.
