Job Summary
We are looking for a confident and responsible Interior Design Assistant to support the Head – Interior Design in client handling, site visits, measurements, design coordination, and project follow-ups.
The candidate should be capable of independently handling assigned client meetings and site visits on behalf of the Head – Interior Design and effectively coordinating with clients, vendors, contractors, and the internal design team.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend client meetings and discussions on behalf of the Head – Interior Design.
- Conduct project site visits and take accurate site measurements.
- Understand client requirements and communicate them to the senior design team.
- Assist in client discussions, design presentations, material selections, and finalization.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and site teams.
- Monitor site progress and report updates or issues to the Head – Interior Design.
- Assist with drawings, layouts, BOQs, material details, and project documentation.
- Maintain proper records of measurements, client discussions, approvals, and site updates.
- Follow up with clients and vendors regarding pending requirements and approvals.
- Independently manage routine project coordination tasks assigned by the Head – Interior Design.
- Represent the company professionally during client meetings and site visits.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in interior design/site coordination preferred.
- Good knowledge of interior design and site execution.
- Ability to take accurate site measurements and understand drawings.
- Strong communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to confidently attend client meetings and site visits independently.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office, or similar software will be an advantage.
- Good coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and project site visits.
