Job Description & Key Responsibilities
- Guest Greeting: Welcome patrons warmly, escort them to tables, and manage reservations or phone inquiries.
- Order Processing: Present menus, explain daily specials, provide detailed item or allergen information, and input orders into POS systems.
- Service Delivery: Serve food and beverages promptly at correct temperatures, clear and sanitize tables, and handle billing accurately.
- Operations: Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams, restock station supplies, and complete daily opening/closing side duties.
Knowledge & Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or degree in Hotel Management/Hospitality is strongly preferred.
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of prior experience in a hotel, restaurant, or cafe environment, though freshers with strong communication skills are often accepted.
- Core Knowledge: Familiarity with basic food safety and hygiene protocols (such as HACCP), POS/billing software, and menu/beverage terminology.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication, active listening, physical stamina for long standing hours, and a polite, customer-first attitude.
