About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Site Engineer – Civil to join our construction team in Visakhapatnam.
This position is ideal for a Diploma Civil Engineer with 6 months to 1 year of practical site experience who wants to build strong hands-on experience in construction site execution and supervision.
Freshers are not the primary preference. Candidates who have already spent some time working on a construction site and understand basic site operations will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Coordinate with workers, contractors, and vendors.
- Monitor work progress and ensure proper execution.
- Read and understand basic civil drawings and specifications.
- Check dimensions, levels, quantities, and quality of work.
- Maintain daily site records and progress updates.
- Do measurements and follow gudiance for material procurement
- Coordinate with senior engineers regarding site requirements and issues.
- Identify delays, quality issues, or other problems at the site and report them promptly.
- Ensure construction work is carried out according to project requirements and safety practices.
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering preferred.
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant construction/site experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of civil construction and site execution.
- Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work and stay at the project location in Visakhapatnam.
- Responsible, punctual, and willing to take ownership of assigned site activities.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel will be an advantage.
Salary & Accommodation
- Salary: ₹14,000 – ₹15,000 per month
- Free accommodation provided by the company.
- The accommodation provided has an estimated value of ₹5,000+ per month, making the overall compensation value ₹20,000+ per month.
- The employee will be responsible for their own monthly food expenses.
- Accommodation is provided for the employee during the work assignment.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is early in their career but already has some practical construction-site exposure.
A candidate who has completed a Diploma in Civil Engineering and has worked for around 6–12 months as a Site Engineer, Junior Site Engineer, Site Supervisor, or similar role would be an ideal fit.
