Role Overview
As a Freelance Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing short-form content for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and other social media platforms. The ideal candidate understands fashion aesthetics, social media trends, and how to create scroll-stopping content that drives engagement and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit Instagram Reels, Stories, and promotional videos.
- Create engaging product-focused and lifestyle content.
- Add music, transitions, captions, graphics, and effects where appropriate.
- Repurpose existing content into multiple formats for different platforms.
- Maintain a consistent visual style aligned with the brand identity.
- Stay updated with social media trends and suggest new content formats.
- Deliver edited videos within agreed timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience editing short-form social media content.
- Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or similar editing software.
- Good sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands is preferred.
