Goods Receipt and Inventory Management
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and delivery notes for accuracy.
- Oversee unloading, sorting, and proper storage of goods in designated areas.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all received materials.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and maintain up-to-date inventory records.
Operational Efficiency
· Manage the movement of goods within the DC, including inter-unit transfers.
· Follow and enforce FIFO (First-In-First-Out) for inventory management.
· Monitor and improve turnaround times for vehicle loading and unloading.
· Ensure proper handling and storage to minimize wastage or damage.
Leadership and Training
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Train and develop team members to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain manpower records and plan workforce allocation effectively.
Safety and Compliance
· Ensure the use of PPE and compliance with safety standards during operations.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free working environment.
· Monitor and address any safety incidents to ensure zero accidents.
Reporting and Documentation
· Maintain and update stack cards for all materials.
· Provide timely and accurate reports to management on inventory and operations.
· Raise purchase requisitions as required to maintain stock levels.
3. Qualification & Experience
Educational Qualifications:
(Additional Certification Required if any)
· Relevant degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Relevant Experience:
· Prior experience in warehouse/DC operations and goods receipt management.
