Economics Teacher Requirement (Grade 10–12)
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Economics Teacher for Senior Secondary Grades (10–12).
Position: Economics Teacher
Grades: 10 to 12
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Economics (Micro & Macro) as per the prescribed curriculum (IB/IGCSE – as applicable).
- Prepare annual lesson plans, unit plans, and assessment strategies.
- Guide students in data interpretation, case studies, and project work.
- Prepare students for board examinations with structured revision plans.
- Develop analytical and critical thinking skills in students.
- Maintain academic records and provide timely feedback to parents.
- Participate in departmental meetings and school activities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Master’s Degree in Economics (M.Com /M.A.. Economics, B.Com with MBA).
- B.Ed.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in Grades 10–12.
- Experience in board exam preparation will be preferred.
Skills Required:
- Strong conceptual clarity in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Statistics.
- Ability to simplify complex economic concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in ICT tools and digital teaching platforms.
- Strong classroom management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience handling senior secondary board classes.
- Ability to mentor students for economics projects, research, and competitions.
