Role description
Role Purpose: Act as a subject matter expert for a specific fibre related technology domain and support development of solution for customers Key Accountabilities: B.Tech with 8-10 years of experience in developing solutions for fiber and related technologies Preferred Experience and Qualification:
Provide technology support to develop solutions for client requirement
Work with the sales and pre-sales team to showcase the organizational capabilities in technology to customers
Support in the respective subject matter expertise in preparing Customer Requirement Analysis, Preparing High level architecture and Solution Building blocks, shortlisting Compliant OEMs for techno-commercial analysis
Build OEM Relationships and create in depth analysis / evaluation of various OEM offerings according to set benchmarks
Research new and emerging solutions around the subject matter areas
Skills
Good understanding of theoretical part of Chemical engineering with process optimization techniques.
Good understanding of governing equations in heat transfer, mass transfer, reaction kinetics
Develop and document new manufacturing methods for new product introductions.
Use data analysis (SPC), root cause analysis (RCA), and designed experiments (DOE) to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and lower production costs.
Transition new processes from laboratory or pilot scale to high-volume manufacturing, including equipment installation, commissioning, and validation.
Create, review, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and work instructions to ensure consistency.
Work with Production, Process, Quality, Utility and Maintenance teams to implement process improvements and ensure safety compliance.
Preferably at least one coursework in Plant Safety or Process safety during Bachelors or Masters
Preferable if familiar with glass or fiber manufacturing environment
Strong organizational and planning abilities
Good communication and presentation skills
Other details
M.Tech / MS from IITs in any Chemical engineer with more than 5 years of experience.
