Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Quadient Workflow Engineer with expertise in Customer Communications Management (CCM), Azure cloud technologies, and enterprise document processing solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Quadient Inspire, document composition, workflow automation, and integration with BlueCrest (Pitney Bowes) print and mail systems.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable document generation workflows, enabling seamless integration between enterprise applications, Azure services, and high-volume print and digital communication platforms. The role requires strong technical expertise in cloud integration, workflow orchestration, document lifecycle management, and performance optimization.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuadient Inspire Development
- Design, develop, and maintain Quadient Inspire workflows using Designer, Scaler, Interactive, and Automation modules.
- Build and enhance document composition templates for customer communications across print and digital channels.
- Develop scalable document generation workflows supporting high-volume enterprise communications.
- Support end-to-end document lifecycle management, including composition, formatting, bundling, delivery, archival, and tracking.
Workflow Automation & Integration
- Design and implement workflow automation solutions for enterprise document processing.
- Integrate Quadient Inspire with BlueCrest (Pitney Bowes) print and mail systems for production-scale document delivery.
- Build integrations using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and REST APIs.
- Develop secure and scalable integrations with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, and core business systems.
- Support file-based integrations using XML, JSON, CSV, and other structured data formats.
Azure Cloud & Data Engineering
- Design and develop data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
- Utilize Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps to build cloud-native workflows.
- Develop event-driven architectures using Azure Service Bus and Azure Event Grid.
- Integrate cloud services to support both batch and near real-time customer communication workflows.
- Work with Azure Synapse Analytics and Databricks where applicable.
Performance Optimization & Reliability
- Optimize document workflows for high-volume batch processing and enterprise-scale performance.
- Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, retry mechanisms, and automated recovery processes.
- Troubleshoot workflow failures, production issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure workflow reliability, scalability, and SLA compliance.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure document workflows comply with organizational security, governance, regulatory, and audit requirements.
- Support document archival, traceability, and compliance standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, workflow designs, reusable components, and deployment procedures.
- Follow DevOps best practices using Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Solution Architects, DevOps Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Teams to deliver enterprise communication solutions.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and release management.
- Recommend improvements to workflow architecture, automation, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Quadient Inspire (Designer, Scaler, Interactive, and Automation).
- Strong experience in Customer Communications Management (CCM) platforms.
- Experience with document composition, template development, and workflow automation.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services, including:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Blob Storage / Data Lake Storage
- Azure Functions
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure Event Grid
- Experience integrating Quadient Inspire with BlueCrest (Pitney Bowes) print and mail solutions.
- Strong understanding of workflow orchestration, ETL/ELT, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience working with REST APIs, SOAP services, and file-based integrations (XML, JSON, CSV).
- Experience supporting high-volume batch processing and enterprise document generation.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
- Programming and scripting experience with SQL, Python, and JavaScript.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, or other cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging services.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git.
- Familiarity with enterprise output management, print optimization, and postal workflows.
- Experience working in Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Telecommunications, or other regulated industries.
